I started taking photos of my kids playing sports because they're getting older, and I wanted them to have something they'd keep. That's how I came up with kept.photos one day.
My thing — I want to capture the feel of the game as a proud parent, and someone trying to capture the emotion of the moment. Sometimes I don't get the photo because I'm so in the game. It's a trade-off. I try to get the emotion, and I get lost in the moment, and I forget about this hunk of glass and camera in my hand.
No watermarks here. Just mention me. I hope these help you remember the moment and keep the photos.
If you want me to cover a game, a tournament, or a season, just reach out. We'll figure it out.
For the athletic directors and online editors — I hear that the gear list matters to you, so here's mine:
Canon R5 Mark II, with a range of lenses including the RF 400mm f/2.8 IS, RF 100-300mm f/2.8 IS, and RF 70-200mm f/2.8 IS. The EF 200mm f/2L IS is a favorite of mine. Plus the old standby lenses — EF 85mm f/1.2L, EF 50mm f/1.2L, and a few others that make an appearance from time to time.
